I've been trying to figure out where my art belongs, what categories and such. I've been looking around trying to find similar stuff and groups to define it a bit better. I joined a few.
The most notable of them is the (check it out, especially if your a bit on the darker side).
It's a awesome group with so many talented artists that are both awestriking and inspiring. I feel like a ant among some of the giants there. That's a good feeling, to know that I can grow and I always have room to improve. Even if I can't reach the heights as some of them, it'd still be worth every ounce of my time to try.
Here are a couple of those I personally liked alot.
The admin of the group, I really dig his stuff.

And a damn cool photo by
There were many more I wanted to have a look at, but don't have time today. I'll try and feature them in a jorunal later.
Thank you for reading.

Youtube channel
Man I rarely do these journals. But I thought I'd add a update that I started a small youtube channel to show my digital art process. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtcAY6D6l9dqBZvGmx8zeMA It's slow and with quite chill music. So far not too many uploads but does show progress on my current artwork. There will also be timelapses and more shorter content too. So come check it out if your curious. ^^
A procastinators update
Not much of an update, still working on many projects so progress is slow. My focus is split between work, play/socializing and artsy stuff and I'm having a hard time balancing it.
But I did find this fun Ted talk video about procastination which I can relate alot to.
I am also reading David Bayles - "Art and fear - Observations on the perils (and rewards) of artmaking" It's a pretty good read so far. I would recommend it to most artists, though alot will disagree with the books angle and approach I think.
Also wanted to share a few artists I've been checking out lately.

PC back up and some WIP
I fixed the pc, had to switch out the motherboard.
Also have some photos of my current project. It's a bizarre wall drawing with markers.
Also have a few more things going on in the background, but info on those will have to wait.
Thanks for your time, enjoy your day.
The machine spirit let me down
I don't have the habit of posting journals, mostly cause I don't have alot I want to say. However thought I would add a small update here as to whats going on.
I've got some bad news, despite my constant sacrifice and praying to the machine spirit, my pc broke a few days ago. So i can't submit anything new until I get it repaired.
in other, happier news, I've started a new surreal wall drawing which I'll be working on for the next few weeks. I'll post some in progress shots once my pc is back up. I also got some drawings laying around that I'll finish too.
Well thats that, enjoy your day.

I'm flattered that you included my art in your journal entry, thank you! If it helps, I am still looking for where my art belongs as well... not just which deviantart group, but where in the universe! I would suggest trying to interact with the artists you admire, perhaps their feedback will help!
